Carole Laval - Fresno County Assessor/Recorder

It's not often we see a candidate as truly qualified for a position as Carole.

A 1972 CSUF Grad in Economics, she took a job in 1973 as an appraiser in the assessor's office, the first woman in that position.  In 1978, she left to begin her own private practice as an appraiser and real estate broker, a business she's run successfully for 32 years. Carole is a member of the Fresno Association of Realtors, and is the current chairman and two-time president of the Central California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

Henry T. Perea - 31st Assembly District

Jobs, jobs, and more jobs are on Henry T's radar as he vies for termed out Juan Arambula's 31st district seat. Elected to the Fresno City Council in 2002, he was the youngest at age 25, ever to be hold that position.

He's been a leader in the effort toward the revitalization in downtown Fresno. He's actively promoted initiatives to bring about a new "creative economy", and solar energy development. He's responsible for the clean-burning fireplace ordinance now in place for new residential developments inside the city.
